all Originals Make Dance Moves

Vice commissioned us to create this interactive installation for Adidas Originals, set up at three festivals: Primavera Sound 2012 in Barcelona, Optimus Primavera Sound in Porto and SOS 4.8 in Murcia.

You know the biggest party will be at the end of the night, but we’ll all be wasted… Let’s record everybody’s best dance moves and play them all together online. Even if we don’t remember the concert, we’ll still be able to recall the coolest party ever.

User experience

  • Users enter the recording room, alone or with friends
  • When the countdown ends, music starts and they have 7 seconds to show their best dance moves
  • Everything is recorded without any user intervention:
    • the background is removed
    • the moves are shared on social networks, so friends can see you dancing
    • and they are uploaded to the global party site, so you and your friends can dance with thousands of other people
  • Screens around the event show what people are doing in the box, so other participants are motivated to come
